Lucky Invoice Privacy Policy
Effective September 20, 2026
This policy covers Lucky Invoice for iPhone and iPad, including optional cloud sync, usage analytics and diagnostics.
1. Business records on your devices
Lucky Invoice stores the business and customer information you enter, including contact details, tax identifiers, logos, line items, photos, signatures, invoices, estimates and payment records. Payment entries can include amounts, dates, methods, references and notes. Records are stored on your device and, when you enable iCloud sync, in your private iCloud database. You are responsible for having permission to use customer information.
2. Optional iCloud sync
iCloud sync uses Apple CloudKit to share your Lucky Invoice records and associated files between your devices using the same Apple Account. It requires Pro and must be enabled in the app. Apple handles the cloud service under its policies. Turning sync off stops this app installation from syncing; it does not automatically delete existing cloud copies or data on other devices. Keep every participating device updated before using newer document or payment features.
3. Camera, photos, Contacts and exports
You choose whether to scan a business card, select a photo, import a contact or add a signature. Business-card text recognition runs on your device using Apple frameworks. Imported information becomes part of the records described above. Camera and photo access follow the permissions and pickers provided by iOS. Exporting a PDF, receipt, CSV or backup shares the selected information with the destination you choose. That destination handles its copy under its own policies.
4. Apple purchases and customer payments
Apple processes Pro purchases and provides transaction and entitlement information so the app can determine your access to paid features. We do not receive your payment-card details. Recording an invoice payment or deposit only records money you have already received; Lucky Invoice does not move funds or process a customer charge or refund. Optional Venmo and PayPal links direct the recipient to those services.
5. Usage analytics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature use. Events include screen views, invoice/estimate/customer creation and template selection. Google also collects app-instance and device identifiers, device/app information, general location derived from network information, and automatic app and purchase/subscription events. The app’s explicit usage events do not include invoice text, customer contact details, payment notes, photos or signatures. Technical identifiers can distinguish an installation; they should not be treated as anonymous solely because they do not contain a name. Google signals is disabled and our Analytics property is not linked to Google Ads. Google technical support may access Analytics data when needed to resolve service issues.
6. Crash and performance diagnostics
Firebase Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring, provided by Google, help investigate failures and responsiveness. Diagnostics can include crash stack traces, app state, device/OS/app information, installation identifiers, activity before a crash, launch and network timing, resource usage and network information used for approximate geography. We do not intentionally attach your business documents or customer contents to these reports. Technical reports can still contain limited context about the app’s operation.
7. Firebase service operation
Firebase libraries included with the app also contact Google for installation registration, remote configuration, messaging initialization and app-integrity checks. These exchanges can include installation identifiers, registration tokens, app and device information, and integrity-verification material where applicable. They can occur without a visible notification or in-app message. These services do not store your invoice database. Google also processes technical service-usage information. Our Firebase settings allow Google to use this service data to improve non-Firebase Google services and provide insights and recommendations; this is separate from the sharing settings for Analytics event data.
8. Support correspondence
If you email support, we receive the address, message and attachments you send and use them to respond and investigate the request. Send only what is necessary. Remove customer information, payment details and other confidential data from examples, and do not email children’s personal information.
9. Providers and sharing
Apple processes purchases and optional iCloud storage. Google processes analytics and diagnostics. Email and website providers handle support correspondence and access to the website. We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety. The separate Pouya Apps website privacy policy describes visiting this website; app analytics do not mean this website uses analytics.
10. Your choices and deletion
You can manage your documents and customer records in the app and control iCloud sync in Settings. Correcting or removing a payment preserves earlier entries in its history; it is not erasure of every previous value. Exported copies and recovery backups are separate copies and may remain after a record is deleted. Deleting the app removes its local data but does not automatically remove cloud data, backups, exports or previously sent diagnostics. The current app has no in-app switch for analytics or crash/performance collection; the iCloud switch does not control those services. Contact support about privacy requests and applicable access, correction or deletion rights.
11. Retention and international processing
Local and iCloud records remain until deleted through the app or Apple storage controls, subject to synchronization and backup behavior. Exported files remain where you save them. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Analytics is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, with the user retention period reset by new activity. These controls do not set the retention of most aggregated reports. Google describes Crashlytics retention as 90 days before removal begins, and Performance Monitoring retention as 30 days for IP-associated events and 60 days for installation-associated and de-identified performance data. Other service identifiers and backups follow the applicable provider retention and deletion processes. Apple, Google and support providers may process information outside your country.
12. Children
Lucky Invoice is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact support if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
13. Policy updates
We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The current version is available on pouyaapps.com. We update the effective date and may provide additional notice of material changes. An older app installation may contain an earlier bundled copy.
